In MetaTrader 5, open File and select Open Data Folder. This takes you directly to the active terminal directory used by your platform.

DAX ORB installation
Eight clear steps. Nothing hidden.
Install DAX ORB in MetaTrader 5, configure the required permissions and connect the EA to the account licensed for this product.
02Terminal folder
Open MQL5
Inside the terminal data folder, open the MQL5 directory. MetaTrader stores Expert Advisors and their supporting files here.
03MQL5
Open Experts
Inside MQL5, open the Experts folder. DAX ORB must be placed here so MetaTrader 5 can load it as an Expert Advisor.
04Experts
Copy DaxOrb.ex5
Copy the DaxOrb.ex5 file into the Experts folder. Keep the filename unchanged, then return to MetaTrader 5.
05Navigator
Refresh Expert Advisors
In Navigator, right-click Expert Advisors and select Refresh. DAX ORB should then appear in the Expert Advisors list.
06Tools
Open Options
Open Tools and select Options. The next settings allow DAX ORB to trade and validate the license securely with MAP Trading Tools.
07Expert settings
Enable trading & WebRequest
In the Experts tab, enable algorithmic trading and Allow WebRequest for listed URL. Add the MAP Trading Tools domain exactly once so the EA can validate the licensed account.

08Ready
Attach DAX ORB to a chart
Open your broker's DAX chart, attach DAX ORB and confirm that Algo Trading is enabled. When the product license is active, the panel validates the current MT5 account and becomes available for configuration.

Ready for configuration.
DAX ORB validates the current MT5 account automatically. Review the EA inputs and test the complete workflow on a demo account before using it in live market conditions.
